Sections
1. Delivery arrangements
Delivery or pickup options depend on the listing, destination, item and available delivery services. Buyers should review the delivery method, destination, fees and expected information before confirming an order.
2. Delivery fees
A delivery charge shown during checkout or confirmed for the order applies in addition to the product price unless the listing clearly states that delivery is included. Unexplained extra charges should be verified through the official order flow or Support.
3. Processing and delivery timing
Estimated timing can be affected by product availability, seller preparation, destination, weekends, public holidays, weather, traffic, security conditions and delivery-provider operations. Estimates are not guaranteed arrival dates unless the transaction flow expressly provides a guaranteed service.
4. Tracking and updates
Where tracking is available, the order can store a delivery provider and tracking reference. Keep the order reference and tracking information until the device has been received and checked.
5. Receiving and inspecting an item
- Check that the package and item correspond to the order.
- Where practical, inspect visible package damage before confirming receipt.
- Keep packaging, labels and delivery records.
- Take clear photos or video if there is a material issue.
- Use the official dispute route if the item does not match the listing.
6. High-value device protection
Eligible high-value transactions can use stronger verification, inspection and transaction-protection records. A shipment is only described as insured or protected when the applicable service has actually been confirmed for that order.
7. Loss, damage or substitution
If a parcel is lost, materially damaged or appears to contain a different device, report the issue promptly through the official order support flow. Preserve the original packaging, labels, tracking information, listing, messages and evidence.
8. Scope and application
This policy applies to the Gadget Trade marketplace features and transactions to which the policy is relevant. It should be read together with the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, marketplace safety rules, payment and dispute policies, and any listing-specific information shown at the time of a transaction.
9. Records and evidence
Where a workflow creates order, listing, payment, verification, delivery or communication records, those records may be used to understand what happened and to resolve a support request or dispute. Users should keep relevant receipts, photographs, messages, tracking information and other evidence until the matter is resolved.
10. User responsibility
Users are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping account credentials secure, reviewing important order details before confirming a transaction and promptly reporting material problems through the official Gadget Trade support channels.
11. Policy updates
Gadget Trade may update this policy when marketplace workflows, security requirements, payment processes, delivery arrangements or applicable requirements change. The current version published on Gadget Trade is the version that applies to new activity after publication.
